Our Verdict
Mission Hills Shenzhen is golf on an unprecedented scale - nowhere else can you play 12 different championship courses designed by golf legends in one location. It's a remarkable achievement and holds the Guinness World Record for the world's largest golf facility. The resort offers excellent value, good facilities, and convenience for visitors to southern China or Hong Kong. However, while impressive in scope, the individual courses don't reach the architectural or scenic heights of Japan's best or Thailand's resort courses. The setting is functional rather than spectacular, and the experience can feel commercial. Best suited for golfers who want variety and volume, corporate groups, or those combining golf with business in the region. The sheer scale is worth experiencing once, but it's more of a golf theme park than a pilgrimage destination.
